Make Yourself at Home was presented at the 13th Pusan International Film Festival Gala in Busan on October 5, 2008. The festival featured 315 films from 60 nations during its nine day run. Its only competitive section, the New Currents award for first or second-time Asian filmmakers, was expanded this year to feature 14 films from as far afield as Iran and Japan.
